Addiction Medicine Board Exam Preparation Track

Thursday afternoon – Sunday morning (Additional fee)

The Board Exam Preparation Track is designed to complement the Review Course for those taking the Addiction Medicine Board Exam from the American Board of Preventive Medicine. Those taking the Board Exam Preparation Track must also take the Review Course. It consists of 3 elements: 1) Interactive Self-Assessment featuring 700 board-style questions; 2) Addiction Medicine Study Guide with high value exam preparation material organized by topic (upon registration participants receive access to 1 and 2); and 3) 7 hours of live interactive lectures at the Review Course.

Conference Materials

All registrants will receive access to an electronic version of the conference syllabus. There is a $75 charge for a print copy of the syllabus.

A conference app will allow review of PowerPoint slides and speaker materials, taking notes during sessions, accessing the conference schedule, browsing the list of conference attendees and exhibitors, engaging in social media, and more!

After the conference, all full conference registrants will have free access to the speaker presentations (audio synced to slides, mp3 files, and handouts).

Scholarships and Poster Submissions

The Medical Education & Research Foundation (MERF) provides a limited number of scholarships to both physicians-in-training and teaching faculty. Scholars actively participate in mentored learning experiences throughout the conference. The deadline to apply for a scholarship will be in June 2017. In addition, those who are involved in medical education or practice-based clinical research are invited to submit abstracts for posters to be displayed at the conference.
